User manual

The iPhone and iPad user manual includes iPad screenshots, all eleven construction steps, and detailed field AR placement, locator and Crew job instructions. To practice first, use Training without printed tags.

Reporting a problem

Include the app version, device model, operating system version, and the steps that led to the problem. A screenshot or a project file can help. Remove confidential mine, conveyor, and manufacturer information before sharing if it is not needed to investigate.

Projects and recovery

Use Save Project As… to keep a named project file, and Open Project… to reopen it. Automatic recovery keeps your current inputs on the device. Keep separate project files for jobs you need to retain or transfer. FEA results have their own save/open controls.

Plans and FEA access

Standard is US$5.00/month in the United States and includes design editing, drawing exports, and 3D viewing. Premium is US$20.00/month total and adds FEA and cure-model calculations, AR of your own design, and live shared-session hosting on supported devices. Select Upgrade to Premium, or select Run FEA to see the upgrade. Premium replaces Standard in the same subscription group; Apple shows the applicable price and billing change before confirmation. Eligible new subscribers receive seven days free, with one introductory offer per subscription group. Regional prices may vary.

You can open and view saved FEA results without Premium. An expired or downgraded Premium plan prevents new calculations and stops an ongoing run. Use Apple’s subscription settings to change plans; the App Store determines the effective date.

Purchases

Use Restore Purchases in the app while signed in with the Apple Account used for the subscription. You can review or cancel a subscription in Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s Report a Problem service.

Buying for a crew

An organization can buy several Steel Cord Splice subscriptions at once and assign them to its people. Read multi-seat subscriptions for the steps.

Engineering drawings

Final dimensions to be confirmed by the belt supplier. Include the relevant drawing or supplier specification when asking about a layout. Models and calculations need to be checked for the actual belt, splice materials, and site requirements.
