- Open Subscription to subscribe or restore an existing purchase with your Apple Account. Apple shows local pricing and any eligible free trial.
- In Belt & method, choose winching or winding and where the belt is controlled, then enter the belt, cable and idler data and the friction factors.
- In Conveyor profile, enter each section from the let-off at A, then choose the winch station and any let-off brake steps.
- Read Pull results and export the printout, CSV tables or JSON report.
- Use Belt & idler data when you need a belt mass, a CEMA idler rotating mass or a wire rope size.
- Use Save project to preserve your work and Open project to continue later. The Examples menu opens the included projects.
Restore or manage your subscription
Choose Subscription → Restore Purchases using the Apple Account that purchased the plan. A subscription works across the app’s supported Apple devices. If the store does not load, check your connection and use Reload store.
Cancel or change renewal settings through Manage subscription in the app or Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. For billing or refund requests, visit Apple.
Files, offline access and expiry
Save projects to a location you control. You can open and save project files without a subscription; the app does not delete them when access ends. An existing verified subscription can be used offline while it remains valid; purchasing, restoring or checking a new renewal may require a connection to Apple. Projects do not automatically synchronize through Maven Software.
Projects always store SI values: metres, kilograms and newtons. Changing between metric and imperial display in Units & language never changes a saved value.
Why does a tension go below zero?
A negative tension means the belt would overrun the let-off at that stage. Pull results reports the braking still required. Increase the let-off brake or add brake steps on the Conveyor profile page, then check the results again.
Why is there no joint rating?
When the belt is retarded at the let-off, the method reports the braking required instead of a joint rating. Choose pulling at the winder to see the joint rated tension.
Why do my results differ slightly from another calculation?
Belt Installation Maven converts units exactly: 0.3048 m per foot, 0.453 592 37 kg per pound and standard gravity, 9.806 65 m/s². It rounds nothing before results are shown. Calculations that use rounded conversion factors or a rounded value of g, or that round intermediate values, give slightly different results. Results are in kilonewtons or pounds-force.
When asking for help
Include the app version, device and operating system, the page involved, what you expected and what happened. Attach a saved project when it helps, after removing customer, site and conveyor names you cannot share. Never send Apple Account passwords or payment-card information.
Engineering and installation questions
Use the ratings and instructions of the belt, joint, winch, clamp, rigging and brake manufacturers, your site procedures and your responsible engineer for equipment selection and installation decisions. Example values are illustrative.
