Privacy policy
Belt Installation Maven · Effective September 29, 2026
This policy explains how Maven Software Inc. handles information when you use Belt Installation Maven and these product and support pages.
Projects and calculations
Belt and cable data, idler data, conveyor profiles, let-off brake steps, job details, notes and calculations are processed on your device. The app does not upload your projects or results to Maven Software. You choose when and where to save or export files. Save your project before closing the app.
Files can contain the job information you entered, such as customer, site and conveyor names. If you save to iCloud Drive or another file provider, or share an export with another person, that provider or recipient handles the information under its own terms. The app does not provide a Maven account or automatic Maven cloud synchronization.
Preferences
Your language, measurement system and regional size preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to Maven Software.
Subscriptions and payments
Apple processes purchases, free trials, renewals and refunds. Belt Installation Maven uses StoreKit to verify subscription status on your device, restore purchases and provide access. No receipt, Apple account identifier or purchase history is sent by the app to Maven Software servers. We do not receive your payment-card details through the app. Apple may provide the publisher with transaction, financial and aggregate sales information through its services.
Apple’s handling of purchase and account information is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple subscription settings.
Tracking and diagnostics
The app does not include advertising, tracking or third-party behavioral analytics. It does not request access to your contacts, microphone or camera. The Site map asks for your location only when you turn on My location. Your location is used on your device to show where you are, to follow you on the map and to add route points you choose; it is not sent to Maven Software. Apple Maps provides the map under Apple’s own privacy policy. Apple may provide crash or diagnostic reports according to your device and sharing settings.
Support requests
If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate your request. Share only the information needed for support, and remove confidential customer or site details from example files.
Beta testing
If you ask to join the Belt Installation Maven beta on the product page, we receive what you enter: your name, company, position, company email, Apple ID, preferred language, years of belt splicing experience, country, comments and your permission to contact you. The request is stored with Amazon Web Services in the United States. We use it only to review your request, invite you through Apple’s TestFlight and contact you about the beta.
Apple runs TestFlight under its own terms and privacy policy. While you test, Apple shares tester information with us, such as your name and email address, usage and crash information, and any feedback you send through TestFlight.
Website visits
These pages are hosted using Amazon Web Services. Hosting systems process technical request information such as IP address, requested page, browser information and request time to deliver and secure the website. The Belt Installation Maven pages use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use them. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects information such as pages viewed and interactions with them (for example, scrolling, link clicks and file downloads), the referring website, approximate location, and device and browser type. We use this information only in aggregate to improve these pages, and we do not use advertising cookies or Google advertising features. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets no cookies unless you accept them. You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time on the Website Privacy page. You can also opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google describes how it uses information from sites that use its services. Linked websites have their own policies.
Retention and your choices
Project files remain where you save them until you remove them. Deleting the app does not delete exports stored elsewhere and does not cancel your subscription. We retain support correspondence and beta requests only as needed to handle them and meet applicable business or legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied to support or in a beta request, or to withdraw your permission to be contacted. Some records may need to be retained to meet those obligations.
