Privacy policy

This policy describes information handled by Transition Maven and these support pages.

Calculations and saved cases

Belt geometry, material properties, calculation inputs and results are processed on your device. Transition Maven does not upload them to Maven Software servers. Cases may contain names and notes you enter. The local calculation library and any exported files stay in the locations you choose.

You choose when and where to import, export or share files. Files saved to iCloud Drive or another file provider, or sent to someone else, are handled under that provider’s or recipient’s terms. The app has no Maven account and does not automatically synchronize the calculation library between devices.

Augmented reality

If you open AR on a supported iPhone or iPad, the app requests camera permission to place the belt transition on a detected horizontal surface. Camera images and surface information are processed on your device. The app does not record or upload camera images, room maps or measurements to Maven Software servers. You can deny camera access and keep using the ordinary 3D workspace, or change permission in device Settings.

Purchases

Apple handles the App Store purchase and any refunds. The app has no in-app subscriptions or in-app purchases in this release. Maven Software does not receive your payment-card details through the app. Apple may provide aggregate sales and financial information through its services. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Tracking and diagnostics

The app contains no advertising, behavioral analytics or tracking, and does not send personal data to Maven Software servers. It does not request your location, contacts or microphone. Apple may provide crash and diagnostic reports according to your device and sharing settings.

Support

If you email support, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate the request. Send only what is needed, remove confidential project information, and never send Apple Account passwords or payment-card details.

Website visits

These Transition Maven product, support and privacy pages contain no advertising or analytics scripts. They are hosted using Amazon Web Services. Hosting systems may process IP addresses, requested pages, browser information and request times to deliver and secure the website. Other Maven Software pages have their own website privacy policy.

Your choices and retention

You can delete cases from the local library and remove exported files from their saved locations. Deleting the app does not delete exports stored elsewhere. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle requests and applicable business or legal obligations. Contact support to request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied.
