Splice Maven QA Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Maven Software Inc. handles information when you use Splice Maven QA and these app support pages.

Reports and evidence

Job details, inspection entries, process readings, notes, names, selected photos and drawn signatures are processed and stored on your device. The app does not upload your reports or evidence to Maven Software or advertisers. Interface language and display preferences are stored locally. The app does not require a vendor account and has no automatic cloud synchronization.

Photos, exports and backups

The app receives photos you explicitly select through Apple's Photos picker. When you export or share a PDF, text report, readings CSV or JSON archive, it can include the information and evidence you entered. The destination you select, including a cloud file provider or messaging service, handles the exported file under its own practices. Device backups and operating-system file services are controlled by your Apple Account and device settings.

Advertising

The free app displays a clearly labelled, bundled Maven Software house advertisement on its dashboard. The app has no ad-network SDK, advertising identifier access, impression or click analytics, or tracking across other companies' apps and websites. Advertisements do not use report data or personal information for targeting. Opening a sponsor link uses your external browser; the destination website has its own privacy practices. Report entry and exports never contain advertising.

Optional ad-free purchase

Apple processes the optional one-time ad-free In-App Purchase and handles payments. The app uses StoreKit to verify purchase entitlements and restore purchases. Maven Software does not receive payment-card details through the app. Apple may provide transaction, financial and aggregate sales information to the publisher under Apple's services. The purchase has no subscription or demo period. See Apple's Privacy Policy for Apple's practices.

Diagnostics and support

The app has no developer analytics service or third-party behavioral analytics SDK. Apple may share crash and diagnostic reports with developers according to your device settings. If you email support, Maven Software receives the contact details, message and attachments you choose to send and uses them to respond and investigate your request. Please omit confidential job information unless it is necessary for the request.

These web pages

These Splice Maven QA pages are hosted using Amazon Web Services. Hosting systems process technical request information, such as IP address, requested page, browser information and request time, to deliver and secure the site. These pages contain no analytics or advertising scripts. Other Maven Software website pages may have different practices described in the Website Privacy notice.

Retention and choices

App data remains in the local workspace until it is removed, including when the app is uninstalled. Exported copies and device backups can remain with the file provider or operating-system backup service you selected. Keep an exported archive before removing the app if you need to preserve reports. Support correspondence is retained as needed to answer the request and meet applicable business or legal obligations.

Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated effective date.
