Evidence and scope
This is a selected research register of open and covered troughed conveyors. Its records describe sites, systems or phases; the count is not a count of individual belts or a worldwide operating census.
Atlas Energy has four approximate paths from existing Conveyor Maven mapping. The Bangladesh LBC has a 21-vertex archived KML path. Sparse vertices and small transfer gaps remain visible. Henderson has two approximate surface traces, checked against operator regulatory maps: the exposed PC2 portal approach and PC3 to the mill. Underground PC1/PC2 remain untraced.
Facility pins do not locate particular head or tail pulleys. Engineering lengths are source-reported values; geographic polyline lengths are approximate map measurements. Source tiers A–C describe installation evidence separately from location confidence.

Atlas Energy / Atlas Sands — Dune Express · United States
Approximate archived routes mapped · Installation evidence tier A
- Four existing Conveyor Maven map paths cover flights 105CV001, 110CV002, 115CV003 and 120CV004, from the Kermit plant west toward the delivery area. They are approximate archived map geometry, not surveyed pulley locations.
- Multiple conveyor flights. CDI lists 68.5 km; retain the operator's rounded 42-mile system description. Covered trough classification inferred from system photographs and conventional overland design.
- The four mapped polylines total approximately 67.394 km; this map measurement is separate from the operator’s rounded 42-mile system length. Short transfer gaps and sparse two-vertex flights are retained without inventing intermediate vertices.

Henderson mine-to-mill system · United States
Surface route mapped · underground untraced · Installation evidence tier A
- The exposed PC2 portal approach and PC3 corridor to the mill are mapped approximately from satellite imagery, checked against the operator’s stormwater plan.
- Amber: surface portion of PC2 (about 1.420 km geographic trace). Cyan: PC3 (about 6.268 km geographic trace). The common reference is the PC2/PC3 transfer building.
- Underground PC1 and PC2 alignments remain untraced. The displayed 7.687 km surface trace is not the complete 24 km mine-to-mill system.
- The traces follow the covered corridor and approximate terminal buildings; they do not locate surveyed belt axes or individual pulley centres.
- 2004 paper gives December 1999 commissioning; the 2005 summary says installed in 2000. Retain explicit commissioning date. Much of the route is underground.
- The engineering paper labels PC3 6,400 m and its plan 20,567 ft (about 6,269 m); the mapped geographic polyline is 6,267.703 m. Map vertices were selected from imagery without scaling to an engineering length.
- Küng reports PC2 at 16,825 m; the earlier summary gives 16.28 km. Retain the source conflict, and distinguish the short surface trace from the full underground/surface flight.

Bangladesh LBC — Meghalaya to Chhatak · Bangladesh
Approximate archived routes mapped · Installation evidence tier A
- Archived KML follows the corridor from Meghalaya, India, south to the Chhatak plant in Bangladesh. The endpoint coordinates are map vertices, not surveyed pulley centres.
- Operator identifies the 17 km elevated cross-border conveyor supplying the Surma plant at Chhatak from its Meghalaya quarry. The 2022 report records limestone transport that year; current operation is not inferred from archived imagery.
- The 16.913 km map-polyline length is an approximate geographic measurement of 21 archived vertices, separate from the rounded 17 km engineering length.
