Sidewall Maven Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Maven Software Inc. handles information when you use Sidewall Maven and its support pages.

Design data

The example, inputs, calculations, drawings, 3D models and report are processed on your device. The app does not upload these data to Maven Software servers. It stores preferences such as language, engineering region and units locally. A name you enter for a report is kept on the device unless you choose to export the report.

Files and camera

If you choose to export a PDF, the file may contain inputs, results and the name you entered. Your chosen file provider, including iCloud Drive, handles the saved file under its own terms. On supported iPads, optional Desk AR Simulation uses the camera and room information on the device. Maven Software does not receive the camera feed or room map.

Subscriptions

Apple processes purchases, subscriptions and payments. Sidewall Maven uses StoreKit to check purchase status and restore access. Maven Software does not receive payment-card information through the app. Apple may provide transaction, financial and aggregate sales information to the publisher under its services. Analytics and support

The app has no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDK. Apple may share crash and diagnostic reports according to your device settings. If you email support, we receive the contact details, message and files you choose to send. We use them to reply and investigate the issue. Please remove confidential project information from attachments unless necessary for support.

Website data

These pages are hosted with Amazon Web Services. Hosting systems process technical request information such as IP address, requested page, browser information and request time to deliver and secure the site. These Sidewall Maven pages use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use them. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects information such as pages viewed and interactions with them (for example, scrolling, link clicks and file downloads), the referring website, approximate location, and device and browser type. We use this information only in aggregate to improve these pages, and we do not use advertising cookies or Google advertising features. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets no cookies unless you accept them. You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time on the Website Privacy page. You can also opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google describes how it uses information from sites that use its services.

Retention and contact

Local app data remains on your device until you remove it. Exported files remain where you save them. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to answer the request and meet applicable business or legal obligations. To request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied to support, email support@mavensoftware.ai.
