Overhung Load Maven Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Maven Software Inc. handles information when you use Overhung Load Maven and these support pages.

Your engineering projects

Assembly dimensions, masses, motor data, belt tensions, load calculations and drawings are processed on your Mac. The app opens and saves .ohlmaven project documents at locations you select. Maven Software does not receive your project files or results through this app. No Maven account or sign-in is required.

You control where your documents are stored and which files you open. File providers such as iCloud Drive, device backups and document versioning may handle your files according to your own settings and their policies. You can delete documents through Finder or the file provider. Removing the app does not delete documents saved elsewhere.

Subscriptions and payments

Apple handles subscription purchases and payments. The app uses StoreKit to check Apple-verified subscription status on your device, restore purchases and open subscription management. The app does not send your transaction history to a Maven server, and Maven Software does not receive payment-card details through it. Apple may provide the publisher with transaction, financial and aggregate sales information under its services. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Permissions and diagnostics

The app contains no advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs. It does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos. The sandbox limits document access to files you select. Apple may provide crash and diagnostic reports according to your device and sharing settings.

Support correspondence

If you email support, we receive the contact information, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer and investigate your request. Remove confidential project or customer information before sending files unless it is needed for support.

Website visits

Hosting systems process technical request information, such as IP address, requested page, browser information and request time, to deliver and secure these pages. These standalone Overhung Load Maven pages do not load analytics or advertising scripts. Other parts of the Maven website follow the Website Privacy notice. Linked websites have their own privacy policies.

Retention and your choices

Project documents remain where you save them until you remove them. Backups and file providers are managed separately. We retain support correspondence only as needed for the request and applicable business or legal obligations. Contact support to request access, correction or deletion of information you provided to us; some records may need to be retained to meet those obligations.
