FEEDER MAVEN · BELT FEEDER ENGINEERING

From feeder loads
to the layout.

Review capacity, resistance and drive requirements alongside the 3D feeder geometry. Start with the included examples, then work with your own projects and engineering reports.

Available now on Apple Vision Pro · visionOS 2.0 or later.

Calculate the duty

Compare throughput, running and initial-fill resistance, belt power, preliminary motor power and pulley torque.

Inspect the model

Review published mass-flow methods and their assumptions alongside plan dimensions, force arrows and the spatial feeder view.

Keep the record

Save native .feeder projects and export PDF or HTML reports with inputs, force budgets, method comparisons and references.

START WITH THE EVIDENCE

Four published reference examples.

Explore a coal feeder design, a coal hopper geometry study, a plastic pellet test rig and a white sand filling/flow case. Approximate graph readings retain uncertainty; differing load conventions and published arithmetic discrepancies are identified.

Use the source references and assumptions with each comparison.

Subscriptions unlock editing, calculations for your own designs and report exports. Monthly and annual plans provide the same features. Apple's purchase screen displays the price and billing period; subscriptions renew until cancelled. No free trial is included.

Use the appropriate engineering basis.

Use measured material properties and verify that the hopper and outlet provide mass flow. Initial-fill loads are specific to filling; motor sizing is preliminary. Hopper taper, supports, drive envelopes and particle motion are illustrative.

A competent person must review the inputs, assumptions and results before use.
